Roxaco-Asia Hospitality Corporation Wraps Up Month-Long Global Plastic-Free Campaign with Relief Drive for Typhoon Victims

In celebration of the Global Plastic-Free Month, RAHC spearheaded a month-long campaign dedicated to reducing plastic waste while extending compassion to communities in need. The initiative concluded with a meaningful outreach to typhoon victims in Barangay 639, Uli-Uli, Manila, whose lives were recently disrupted by a devastating storm.

Part of the proceeds from RAHC’s special month-long room promotion were set aside for relief efforts, directly benefiting the affected residents. In collaboration with The Hed Travel and Tours and the Remate Riders Club, the RAHC team personally delivered donations to the barangay, providing essential goods and comfort to those most impacted.

This outreach was made possible through the support of RAHC’s valued guests who booked the campaign’s promotional rooms, contributing directly to the cause. The hotel also took an extra step by collecting and selling used plastic bottles from its popular human-sized bottle installations, adding the proceeds to the relief fund.

“The campaign was not just about saying no to single-use plastics—it was about creating a chain of positive action,” shared Roselle Reyes, RAHC’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Through the collective effort of our guests, partners, and staff, we were able to transform a sustainability campaign into an act of kindness for our kababayan. This proves that even small changes, when done together, can make a big impact.”

RAHC remains committed to sustainability and community outreach, continuously seeking ways to merge environmental responsibility with meaningful social contributions. With the success of this year’s Global Plastic-Free campaign, the company looks forward to more initiatives that inspire positive change—both for the planet and for the people.
